Any suggestions...whatcha got? They need to have rather short mountings so as to not prevent using the emergency brake on the trike. I can take some measurements if needed.

Dumb question, but I assume you're not just looking for OEM Valkyrie passenger foot pegs, right?

Brian beat me to it.  I think I have some OE (Valk) passenger pegs, should be like new, and I'll give them to you if you can use them John.  I haven't been down in my parts bin for a long time.

Serk, correct. If they're the fold up type, I need them to not extend more than 3.5" to allow me to pull the parking brake lever up. I seldom use it but is handy under some circumstances. I'm open to about anything including OEM pegs except the standoff is about 1" too long. Nancy has to use them to climb on the trike, a rather embarrasing exercise for her cuz she's short legged and it's a real trial for her. That's the only reason I swapped for a motor with reverse...to relieve her of "reverse" duty.  Grin

John,
So does that mean she won't be pushing you around anymore?   Wink

No, it doesn't go that far. Besides, as a woman she has certain tools at her disposal so no pushing is needed.  Roll Eyes

I use Kury Premuim floorboards that can adjust 5 different position on splined adapters that can be mounted to go above stock peg height if that comes into play. Stock pegs are about the shortest fit as the Kury small ISO's with adapters are 4 1/2" lg. and Dually's are @ 4 3/4" lg. from the front of the clevis folded down. I have a set of ISO small available.

I would think you mean they can't be longer than 3.5" folded up, nearly all will be over that folded down.

I mean, it they are OK for the brake folded up, but she is sitting behind you with them down, a tap on the leg for her to fold that one up is all it would take to pull the parking brake up.  No?

EDIT:

OK John, I found a bag with nearly brand new front and rear Valk pegs.  There's also two chrome mounts in this bag, and I assume they are for the front pegs as the mount bolt in them is too large for the rear peg holes.  I put Cobra floorboards and kickshifers on both my Interstates years ago, so my memory of this stuff is unclear (to nonexistent).

Now the bike the rear pegs came off of (Interstate) has the original rear peg mounts still on the bike, to which I just swapped out Kury Duallys for the OE rear pegs, reusing the rear peg bolts.

So I have a set of Valk rear pegs, but not the OE mounts or bolts.

The driver pegs are so much nicer, but I don't think the mounts for them will fit the rear peg positions.    But if you want them or the rear pegs, or all of it, just let me know.

I figured a picture makes it easier to visualize the issue. The upper finger points to the mounting point for the pegs, the lower finger points to the park brake. The pegs are mounted via a 10mmx1.25 bolt, and are handy for the passenger to get on/off. That chrome mount on the left side is slightly bent like someone rather heavy stepped on it numrous times. I noticed it when I bought the trike and while chatting with the owner his wife strolled up. Question answered! She was as tall laying down as she was standing...fortunately he was skinny so was well within the load limit...of an F-250. Grin

But I digress. Nah...actually I'm done, check the picture. Jess, you're right...no more than 3.5" folded up at least on the right side. If you're willing to sell the chrome parts let me know.

John, your picture won't show/load.

I was trying to see the rear peg location/setup on your signature pic, but can't.  I can only assume it's the same as any Valk.

As I said, I have the front pegs and mounts, and rear pegs.  I see you run the OE fronts.  Want a new set of spares?  I'll never use them.

You can have whatever you want for free.  Just let me know (and send me a PM with address for shipping).

Jess, I tried to send an email with the picture in it but the address won't activate. The mount is different from the OEM Valk mounting. I'll keep trying a different approach for the pic.

Well forget the picture John.

These are OE metric pegs.  The fronts will fit.  Won't a metric rear peg bolt up to what you have?

Yes, no reason they won't that I can see. The trike comes with a chrome arm with a hole at the very front end for the mounting bolt. The original location for the rear pegs is used for one of the mounting points for the trike kit. The chrome arm is mounted to the trike frame and comes out a few inches away from the  side covers.

PM me an address then.  I've got a box and some tape.   Smiley

My parts bin has a lot Valk stuff, but there's Harley, Yamaha & Kawasaki stuff too.  Getting in there is like some kind of archaeological dig.  Grin   crazy2
