My grandma jumped on the back of my bike last year after she was diagnosed as terminal with cancer and rode up to 70 Mph. She'd never been on the back of a bike before.

I can imagine her doing that sorta thing too if she was still around.

People are more passionately opposed to wearing fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than bikers.

I "forgot" to tell my 80 yr old mom I had a bike, but my oldest son ratted me out.  tickedoff    She says she wants to go for a ride since she's never been on a bike before.   Shocked    Funny, she never would allow me to ride one when she had anything to say about it !   ???

I got an uncle, Hi Bice,  that turned 80 this year and he has all his life toured the US on motorcycles.   Last year he finally got to where he kept falling over with his bike as he couldn't get his leg high enough to go over the seat and sometimes he would fall.   So he traded in his BMW this year and bought a Honda Silverwing? or a Bergman? with the leg room in the middle and is back riding all over the US in retirement.   He is now lining out a trip to do the 4 corners of the US on a trip.   He works still part time for Continental Airlines and can fly free so on a long distance motorcycle trip he will travel for several days or a week or so and go to the nearest airport and fly home and rest for a couple days and fly back and get on his bike and go again........He's a neat guy to talk to......he has seen a lot on his motorcycle trips in his life.
