Extended Meet in the Middle Ride

Made it home from the Meet in the Middle Ride. Had to add a few days, miles, states and provinces to fill out my vacation.  It was a great trip. 17 states, OH, IN, KY, TN, NC, VA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, ME, NH, VT, PA. That completes the sweep of the 48 continental US states. The 5 eastern Canadian provinces, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec. Hmmm, that gives me an idea. Hope I’m not getting too old for this stuff. The only negative thing that I ran into was when I stopped to get gas in NB. Two stations, I pulled into the second one because it was on the side I would be getting back on the road from. When I pulled out and passed the other station there were two guys on their Hardlys, I gave them a friendly wave and they both gave me the finger. Couldn’t tell if it was because I was on my Goldwing or was proudly waving the American flag on my trailer. Maybe they were just jealous of my good looks.

I’m not sure what’s going on with our Canadian friends these days but maybe  these guys were concerned
You were bringing back all that nasty air pollution they’ve been exporting for years  
   


Or, maybe they were extending a meet in the middle finger
