While disposing of the frame, I noticed the crack in the kick stand cross member and in the second pic one can see the bend in the cross member allowing way more tilt.

Wow that’s something else there. Was it only the lean that got you concerned or was there a cracking or popping or some other noise as well? What’s the fix? Are you going to weld it or section a tube over it or?

This was on a bike I was Parting out so nothing to do...
I checked my daily rider and danged if it wasn't cracked also. I run a car tire in the rear (for the last 15 years)so I thought the lean was due to that since it is taller than a m/c tire. Never had any indication it was cracked and probably will just leave it as is..
