I'm a bigger guy 6'6 and 320. Kinda pushing limits on some tires. I have heard things like reverse rotation that spark my curiosity. If I wanted to do something similar which brands and sizes would you suggest for extra weight and financial embarrassment (lol on disability)

I run General Ulti-max on the rear and Metzler on the front. I am not as big as you , but we have a few in the group that are heftier than you.
As soon as they destroy the  buffet , they will chime in  2funny

Reverse tread is a rear tire being used on the front I'm assumming.

At 165 lbs. and front tire with beads, I got 23,000 mi. from my AV72 Cobra @ 38 psi. and 12,500 on the rear w/o beads both the Cobra and Exedra 702. The torque on these beast do wear tires though I'm not a proponent of CT's but in your case its an option. Remember the gears need service every "normal" tire change mileage and has to be done regardless.

The one time I ran a rear on front (for the deeper tread depth rears have over front), it was not a good experience.  It was a 140, not a 150, and a bit slipperier than I cared for.  Probably more due to the tire brand than the size, but I never did it again.

I run Michelin car tires on the back (CrossClimate II 205 60s, with almost no discernible tendency to stand the bike up in corners).  A fantastic tire.

I only run Metzlers on the front (the best there is IMHO), though I don't get great mileage (and I don't care).

Tires won't change the 'weak point' which is the suspension system.
