Does anyone have an opinion on whether it’s a good idea to use this aluminum fuel rail T as an upgrade when doing a carb job?

Do you know how the "pipe" parts are connected to the "box"? If it's just a pressed connection, the Red Eye one looks to have three more possible leak locations.

Ok I just talked to someone who takes them apart and he said the OEM Honda fuel T is just fine, that it ‘s all in the condition of the o ring. Meaning it’s only the O ring deterioration not an imperfect surface that the O ring sits on.
I was just considering some upgrades for an upcoming carb job. Guess I’m making issues where there aren’t any.

If you used the metal one and used small hose clamps you shouldn't have any leakage issues. I did that maybe 20 yrs. ago on the 2-wheeler Valk I sold earlier this year, never had a problem. That way you're not relying on 0-rings. On mine when I made the change I found a Tee that didn't have the o-rings slots but did have the small raised rings near the ends. No idea where I found the item, like I said...it was about 20 yrs. ago.
