A great video of the explanation of riding. A convertible just doesn't do the same.

As long as you can ride you can survive anything.  cooldude cooldude

THAT was quite possibly The BEST explanation of something a Lot of folks have asked me over the years. BUT as we here already KNOW a person Must first and foremost Experience a Ride before the question is asked BUT dat never seems to happen-ride then question!  Lips Sealed The Only thing I'd change bout that video would be to have had James Earl Jones do the narrating. And I KNOW from personal experience that splaining what we do and experience IS dang near impossible!  Undecided And We here KNOW wind is The BEST Therapy we can git!!  cooldude cooldude cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Years ago I saw a documentary where a gentleman explained that riding a motorcycle takes total focus and is also totally relaxing at the same time, the lazy man's  zen.

cooldude ... More people should try it on for size.

More perhaps but maybe not most.  The potential for developing the skill to effectively control a two wheeler at speed and comfort is a gift within perhaps a subset of humanity.  The wrong person on a motorcycle at the wrong time will hurt himself and possible someone else.

Be thankful that you have been given the gift to experience the therapy of the ride; some short, some long.

I've always considered Any RIDE wether long or short a sorta mind flush. Give the ol thinkin muscle some time to recuperate and better deal with the trivial and mundane that seems to catch up when one doesn't RIDE!  crazy2 And Carl yer correctamundo I've seen folks all over the country who should have NEVER EVER purchased a motorcycle. Even though I'm now relagated to a Trike and I duz miss the Carving the Wind on the other hand still welcomes me when I duz show up!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
