Raod Star Siverado

I had a Road Star Siverado Yamaha Cruiser 1700.

NTHSA issued a recall that the transmission had a defect in the machining of a tranny shaft and could lock the transmission up causing a crash and death.

My boss was still riding one years later and never know about the problem.

The dealer tore the engine down and replaced the faulty parts free of charge.

So it ain't a bad idea to go look at the recall list form the NTHSA now and then to check your vehicles for safety recalls.
