Well finally made my rounds around bikes and now back on a Valkyrie again. I rescued this bike. Got to do a lot of maintenance on it before road ready. It's a 1997 Green and Cream with 56000 miles on it.  Got to do both forks, carbs completely  taken apart, timing belts with a 4 degree trigger wheel, desmog, new plugs, oil change, anti freeze change out. Will also pull the rear wheel and inspect the rear end and drive splines and grease. Got some good scratches on left bag. Will contend to that once mechanical up to my standards. So glad to be back on 2 wheels and a Valkyrie at that. Here is one picture. More to come in a few weeks.

Love the choice. I own the same year and color combo. After 3 valks, my favorite one. Where’s the windshield?

It was missing. Hated that. I love the stock windshield that comes on a tourer. I think I have found one and will be checking on it in a few weeks.

Thanks. Plan on solo this bike. I may add the passenger seat later if Kathy decides to ride. She has had one hip replacement and surgeries coming up is both knee total replacement and the other hip. So we don't know how the hips will do while trying to ride on back.

Imho, that is one of the best color combos, if one came into my sight, I'd have a hard time not getting it.

The Valk is just a great looking piece of art and looks even more awesome in 1 up.

I got the chrome cross piece for when the rear seat and back rest are off and makes swapping between easy and quick.

Enjoy your new ride.

I look forward to future updates cooldude
