I have played with all the settings and nothing changes.  I come to this site and what stares me in the face is messages that were posted on March 2 and 3.  That was 7 days ago.  when I can finally find something to look at,  I have to scroll to the bottom of the page or if is is 2 or more pages long, go to the bottom of the last page to read the first post and then work my way up!  I think they read that way in Japan, not here.  Anyway, this is a huge waste of time.

Try this... there are column headings, click on the Started By column and it sorts by that column in ascending order. Click it again and it sorts in descending order. That's probably what you want to see. Bookmark it and use that bookmark to get to the board.

I'll give it a try too. I'm so tired of sorting through pages I'll try anything. By the way, the yellow font is virtually invisible in the lighter background scheme I’m using.

Click the link at the top labeled "Show unread posts since last visit".  For me it lists the most recently replied to first.

Scott added the "Go Down"  and "Go Up" links to move quickly to the top or bottom of a page without scrolling.

Sometimes it takes a while to learn to walk, and then to run.  One day you may look back and wonder why it seemed so hard.

Get into your profile and click on "Look and Layout Preferences" from the list on the left.
On the list that comes up on the right check the box beside " Show most recent posts at the top." After I did that, Willow's reply appears at the top of the thread, rather than your original post.

Another feature I use is to right click the message and then open it in a new panel.

When you are done with that message, click the 'X' in upper right corner and you return to the panel you left.

If you are not on the board for several days, yes, it can get a little tiring bouncing back and forth..........

Best thing to do is ask questions and understand what they are saying.  NO understand ask them to clarify their response.

Yes, I cussed and hollered when I 1st tried this style board about 2 years ago...........  Then I got so I liked it better than any other style including our old one.....

Another little secret, right click the blue new in a post heading and you get only what has happened since you last visited that one..........

The thing I don't like about the click posted since last visit, it covers all the messages in General and Tech.   Personally, I just as soon it would do the General, then I could go to the Tech side and do it again...........

You have my phone #, you got a question, call me and I'll try my best to assist ya............  If I don't know the answer, we can search it together......
