Got her road ready. All mechanical issues corrected. Replaced the oil seal for the clutch cover where push pin shoves in the clutch basket. Was a bugger to get out. New one was easy to install. I just swung the side stand bracket to to the side, removed slave cylinder with disconnecting the brake line and work from there. Also rebuild clutch master cylinder. Will run it a few miles and change oil in it. Also got the windshield installed. Guy give me a almost new National Cycle heavy duty windshield. Only thing I had to do was order the mounting brackets for the Valkyrie. Haven't tried it out yet. I know it will not be as good as the OEM windshield. Pictures of the windshield.

Great work !

Dunno, might get different opinions on this but....

I found those full size windshields make the bike handle like a truck.

I have a smaller Memphis Shades shield that really doesn't feel any
different than running without one. Keeps the wind off my chest on
long trips.

I rode one Valk with the full blown shield and couldn't believe it.
Night & day.

Just sayin'

Looking great cooldude

For a almost 30 year old bike, looking excellent.

At 56k, she's only half broke in.

It was missing when I got the bike. Had some Memphis Shade mounts on it. They probably had a fairing on it and removed it. I asked the guy and he said the way I see it is the way he bought it. Wished it had the OEM shield on it.

Still has some cosmetic that needs attention. I will eventually get around to fix some of the paint spots on it. Now that it's mechanically ready I can focus on the little stuff. Ordered some fork lowers and adjustable wide blade chrome levers.
