I always use the OEM factory service manual, along with the Clymer manual (there is also this document from the archives: https://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/carlvalve.htm). If you've ever done valve clearances on any motorcycles, this one is relatively straight forward (especially without having to use shims). Take your time with it. It can be done in about 30-45 minutes, but the first time its about 1-2 hours, including beer breaks.

Be aware that you need a bit of RTV when reinstalling the valve covers.
