I live in Texas.  The Houston area Honda dealerships refuse to do even maintenance work on Valkyries.

Anyone know of a Honda Dealership in Texas that will still work on Valkyries?

Any good motorcycle shops that work on Valkyries?

What kind of work do you need done?  An independent shop will do tires, brakes, fluids, etc.

Woods Cycle Country in New Braunfels (a Honda Dealer) just helped me with my leaky carbs.  Their cutoff is 25 years.  Mine is an 03 so I have two years left  Grin but I think now that they've worked on it, I might get some leeway!

Bingo.......
Just talked with Wild West Honda in Houston and they gave big praises to an indvidual who works on Valkyries near Hyway 290 and Hyway 6.  I called him and he has owned three motorcycle shops and talking with him he seems to know Valkyries.   For future work needed here is his info:
Steve Wilson 713 854 4508
I am taking my bike to him Tuesday.  Will give report on his work later.

Took my 2001 Valkyrie to the mechanic I found in Cypress Texas on Monday eve and he just called and said my bike is ready.  I supplied all parts and fluids.  His labor is $450.   Hr put my new brake pads in, flushed the brake lines and put new fluid in them, did a radiator flush with new coolant mixture, replaced clutch fluid, changed oil and filter, and changed rear end oil.  I had him test drive to listen for any valve adjustments needed.  He said no valve adjustments needed.  I thought that was fair price.  He has been through the Honda mechanic school.   Nice easy going guy.  See above posts for his name and number.  Dont know his ability to work on Valk motors and carbs but in his shop he has a couple crotch rockets torn down he is working on.  When I took my bike there another customer was loading his 1970's totally restored Yamaha dirt bike and he said he has used the guy several times with good results.   Wild West Honda in Katy Texas highly recommended him as they will not work on Older Valkyries.
