Got in 225 or so miles yesterday.  It was a great day.   Clear...no rain...when we left it was 51 degrees warming up fast to 73 degrees.   Me and my two sons , one on his ST1300, one on his new Harley, and my grandson 17 yrs old with his new to him like new  2007 VTX1800, and my 75 yr old riding buddy on his  2013 Harley rode 60 miles to Sealy Texas for the very good breakfast served at Tonys restaurant, then up into Independence Tx area.  Great place to ride.   It was great to have my 2 boys and grandson and riding buddy together for an early morning ride.  Great day.

My son with the new Harley he bought in August just got his Harley out of the shop after having the stage 4 kit installed and it dino's 163 horsepower.   We got on a long straight road on the Brazos River flatlands and he came up next to me at 60 mph and revved up to take off , I dropped a gear and we took off and man he left me like I was sitting still....ha

LOL.  BUT, look at the $$$$ invested in the new Hardley, plus whatever the "state 4" kit cost him.
I would like to see what one of the blown Valkyries would do against him.  Smiley

I REALLY like my 1999 Valkyrie, but I only have around $5k invested.

I have only ridden with my 2 brothers a couple of times, once in the hill country and once up in Colorado.  Epic rides that I will never forget!

Glad you got out for a ride!

Yesterday was a fabulous weather day. The two Joes, Binky and Mitch rode to Seneca (where I live).
We all had supper at the Mexican restaurant with plans to head out today. Today was
chilly and the Tennessee boys thought it would might get rainy up their way. We'd
planned on a longer ride, but after we got to Georgia the sky was pretty dark and
we went in separate directions. It was great hanging out, I got in 100 miles on the
black bike (what a good bike), I got in a hard nap  cooldude and Carolyn made
two pecan pies.

Today was a perfect day!
