blowing brake light fuse

Using the brakes (foot or hand) blows the 10 amp fuse at the box. Noticed the brake light dims just as the fuse blows.  Looked at the wires and nothing jumps out.
Any ideas?
I have a few minutes as family is coming over but would like to fix it ASAP.

I will be looking on the sidecar side but think it is in the bike side.

Disconnect the car and try again. That will isolate it a bit better. Check under the rear fender. The wires could be pinched under there.

Check the wiring "tunnel" underneath the rear fender. Been there done that trying to run to low of a shock setting.

It's probably a wiring pinch or cut, but it's always worth starting by looking at the bulb (burned/shorted filament?) and the socket first.

Auto electric is one of my worst skills.

Sometimes I need to be reminded to look for horses and not Zebras.
After everything was checked and I went through more 10amp fuses than I care to mention it turned out to be the junction under the fender AND a  short in the wires that ran to the trailer hitch which is neither bike or sidecar
All is well and the weather is great here. 70's and sunny. Time to get out before the price of gas goes below $6 and everyone gets back on the road and their phone.
