I do not have a link to this. I was totally stunned , shocked and floored.  I am sure someone can find and post a link.  It is all states . The new laws are for profit.  I found myself in violation of several.

All 2026 (?) vehicles for US sales have software that can send you a ticket for infractions.
  This effects everyone.

I’ve known about this for some time. Originally intended for  police law enforcement, then supposedly
Installed in all m/y 2026.
Don’t know if  it’s widely implemented, yet. Haven’t heard anything more though. 2026 is rolling along,
Seems like there would be more uproar by now…  Undecided

More junk no one asked for, no one needs or wants!  tickedoff

If true, I know of no better way to stop people from ever buying new cars again.  Ever.

I would not own one with that crap in it.

You say it 'can' send you a ticket.  Is it optional?  Or is it designed to issue one for every single violation it identifies?

Next, if you're 25 over, it electrocutes you to death.    crazy2

At 16 I'd already had a 1954 Ford 2 door with a 300 CI straight six and a 3 spd overdrive. And access to Dads garage and tools. A 6 volt electrical system. I learned a LOT about automotive maint and upkeep. I knew where every junkyard was in a 50 or 60 mile radious of home. No cell phones no electronic ignitions no electronic fuel injection But THE BEST danged thing then-big brother did Not KNOW where I wuz at any given moment. Fer y'all keepin track that was 1961. I do tell some Friends and some Family when I travel but I KNOW my travels are None of big brothers BUSINESS at all or ever! Course fed gubmint no see it dat way!  Lips Sealed RIDE SAFE.

NYC passed a law saying you have to wait till a pedestrian has exited the roadway before proceeding

My secretary was hit by a car while walking home and crossing the crosswalk this afternoon on the corner by my office
I didnt see it happen but recognized her laying in the road while I was driving by and so I stopped
Then I flagged down an EMS and waited for the cops to show up 15 minutes later
Also I got the video from the supermarket on the corner and name and contact info for witness

You can see her being hit in the video (I took a video of the video) and the young man who operated the car jumping out to see her laying and crying on the road.

I think she will be ok  She is 75 yrs of age

It was nice to see so many folks looking out for auntie Brenda as she is called around these parts

Keep your eyes open folks
