hi, i have just joined today and would like info for fitting my magnacharger.
under the carbs there are 2 cast banks that collect 6 tubes from the heads, and there is a valve connecting them. what is the purpose of this arangement?
i must remove these to fit the supercharger, but do i have to block/seal them off, and if so where?
i bought it second hand and have no installation manual.
i hope there is the expertise out there that is kind enough to help.
thanks steve

The new kit comes with the desmog block plates and plugs to delete all tubes, you will need to contact Magnacharger to Email you instructions, way to much to explain on this board. tried to find on the Net for you but like everything about the Valk is a collectors item now. http://www.magnacharger.us/contact.htm Btw Wellcome !

I've always wanted one of these, but thought it best to wait and see how it turns out in the long run.  I guess I waited a bit too long, eh.  (Yes, I'm Canadian) I'm actually surprised the kits are still available.  Hmmm.  I'll start doing a bit of research before asking stupid questions.  Got any good pointers for info links?

Not a lot out there,if setup right, you have a stealth ride if not....problems, i have had this setup for about 7 years now, but i like a challenge, the blower is not for your typical Valk rider, it is not for 'show' to me this would be like taking your bike to the edge, but if you are a good wrench Go for it!, The performance is second to none,La Monster did a awesome job on the design of the 2nd generation Blower, Exhaust,Ignition,Racing Clutch, Oli cooler, a must, Magnacharger offers 100.000 mile warranty, after that it can be rebuilt, here is a link for some tech on it.Greg <><   http://www.timskelton.com/valkyrie/gen_interest/bonnevalk.htm

It may have a 100k warrenty, but with the increased power output from the motor, I would think that the motor's life would be decreased quite a bit??? ???

It depends on who sets up your Blower and jets ect, and riding habits i guess, this bike is still on the road, at the time i met this fella he had well over a 100 k on this bike, and Blown he said most of its life, he road it straight through from Canada that weekend none stop over 800 miles in one day, Oh....and took First place Trophy back home with him. i have a few hobbies myself, at the rate i put miles on my bike 9 years and 29 K miles , about 20 more years before the 100 K ? that makes me happy i am not selling and would like to see it be a collector, buying a Power Plus Indian this summer to take some of the millage off the Valk.
