That's Highway 54 northbound outta Van Horn, Texas, heading towards Guadalupe National Park, then on to Carlsbad Caverns...

That's cool. I was shocked to see the West Texas coverage. They are really getting around!

Been playing with that Google map, went right  up Hwy 54 just like you did. Didn't burn a drop of gas. Went back home, same cost. I would venture to say it wasn't anything like your trip. LOL
