Has anyone tried running one number hotter spark plug to help with cold start in the wintertime? Thanks,   John

A hotter plug is not recommended for the Valkyrie since it is a normally lean running motor.

Hot plugs have no affect on the starting characteristics of the motor.

Cold starts need the "choke" fully employed.

A good battery is very necessary for starting the Valkyrie in cold weather.

Thanks Ricky-D. I didn't know. I was just curious if it would make a difference. I do fully apply the choke and keep my battery on trickle charge at all times, just seems to be very cold-natured in the colder months. It will start I just have to go through a certain procedure. Thanks,  John
