I asked this question way down at the end of another semi-related thread... have you ever seen this
solo rack before? Looks like it comes with a BBT solo bar, BBT doesn't offer a solo rack that I see...
Anyone got one of these, used one of these? Know who made it?

Ive never seen that rack before.  The solo bar doesnt look like a BBT bar either.  His dont have the indentations on the top from what I have seen.

I think you're right... the actual jpg that I posted is bigger than what you (I) see on eBay... it
looks generally like a BBT, but the BBT doesn't have those decorations... This rack (which is what
I'm interested in) looks like it would sit flat over the fender, instead of curved, which is fine I guess...
maybe less nice looking, maybe a little more functional? The tabs where it screws onto the fender
look kind of scary, hope someone out there can say something about that...

This auction ends after yours, gotta keep my options open in case Bill Gates or someone decides to

My solo rack uses those tabs to mount the rack in existing bolt holes in the fender.

Front 2 are right under the rear of the seat, the back hole is where the rear sear had a bracket........

Mine was made by or for Honda.  It had Honda splattered all over it....

I won't tell ya what I got it for in $$$$.....

Went to a Honda dealership that was closing.   Bought it at auction.

The holes for the screws match where the pillon would be held to the fender.

The solo bar looks like mine. I believe it was the original solo bar sold by Solo Cruiser or something like that. I just tried to find the website & it's gone so they must not be around anymore. They were pricey at the time, around $90. The decorative dimples could be ordered with the points going to the inside or outside. Your choice would indicate whether you would pierce your left or right ear.  2funny

Was Rivco's rack "flat"?  Definately not a BBT solo bar.  Barry's don't have the indentations on them.

This might help.  Larry has the flat rack and solo bar plus grab rails.  I have the curved rack.  His is easier to strap things down on.  Don't know what brand they are.
