Was a relitively quiet Bike week on the beach side....The draw now is to the Speedway and Destination Daytona, but we still had a great time....I got to meet a couple VRCC riders and talked to more valk riders overall this time than many other trips so its not US that have stopped supporting the City of Daytona  cooldude I didnt take any pictures this time, sorry....but after a few hundred pictures of Daytona, it all starts looking the same to me.

I rolled out of Peachtree City , Georgia this morning heading north on I-75 and saw a very nice blinged out black Valkyrie Tourer rollin' southbound with luggage.Still saw more trailers today than I saw folks ridin' and the weather is perfect for riding  Sad

Well Joe....I can assure you...I rode my bike to Trailer Week........have 14 times in a row now.  Several folks that live near me take them in trailers and I shake my head......especially this one pair of boneheads that had their two sportsters in a pick up truck and made the 400 mile trip a two day affair...they were totally shocked when we said we were continuing on the WHOLE WAY IN ONE DAY on bikes!  WOW, who could believe it.....  Grin

How was the crowds? Was it a anniv year, 70th? I talk to a HD guy that  I see every few months at local watering hole. He has a condo down there and he says every year it smaller or larger, depending how you look at it. Its spreading north he says, where they are welcome.
Sound like Sturgis to. Every year there is always new laws/rules that makes it suck to attend. It has changed noticable since my 1st time in 02. It now more a family affair then a bike rally.  Undecided More people stay within a 100 miles from the epicenter every year. Most go to town to say they been and grab a shirt.

LOL Fudgie........400 miles is fairly comfortable for a day......much more than that and I would require recouperation time cuz Im getting old ya know!!!!  Embarrassed  As for the crowds I think there were a normal crowd but they congregate around the Speedway and Destination Daytona because ONE: Thats where they are welcomed as someone rightly already said, and TWO: The vendors are there...I think rent is doubled or trippled in the city to discourage large numbers of bikes from taking over the streets.

Yes, the City of Daytona is Killing a big part of Bike Week and Biketoberfest with these tactics, which they will regret when they start feeling the crunch of lost income to the city
