He was working in the Davis / Parsons area of Tucker County ( near Dolly Sods ). I told him he could keep it, that I was taking my cruiser to get a car wash....   He returned a muttered oath.....

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

Brian,

I visited Canaan Valley Resort about a year and a half ago. Took a ride looking for a veiw from "Dolly Sods". I don't know exactly where I entered (saw a sign for Dolly Sods) but I felt like I was on a motocross ride on the Valk for what seemed like 100 miles. I finally turned around and headed down whatever mountain I was on......alot of deep breathing, I can tell ya. Anyway, a couple of pics from the area, including deer outside my door that were too comfortable to get up. Beautiful country out there!!!

Hey Mark, as you discovered! Dolly Sods is no place for a Valkyrie. It's kinda like being on the moon.  Cannan valley is a great place to visit, winter or summer. The deer are almost tame.
