We rode all over the North GA mountains today and did about 250 miles....I started across Wolf Pen Gap and made it up a couple of miles to the wildlife viewing pull-off, but the gravel and snow and ice on the side of the road scared Scott so badly that he wanted to turn around and go back....lmao...he slipped a few times on the way up and down, but the Valk was solid as a rock...I could have made it, but it took him 10 miles on good roads to get his mojo back...I took some pics of the 8" of snow where we pulled off but will have to post the pics tomorrow when I get home...we are spending the night in Elijay...great ride so far though

Well.....I made it home safe and sound......with about 405 miles on the odometer.....I spent about 4 hrs today visiting with one of my college buddies before riding on home.....

Like Duffy posted, there was still a lot of snow and ice up in the mountains...mostly on the North facing slopes.....

I started across Wolf Pen Gap(hwy 180), but it was covered with gravel....the Valk was solid as a rock, but Mo was slipping some and the old boy got so nervous that it took him a good while before he could shake it off.....it looked like there was maybe 6-8" of snow on the side of the mountain there....the other pictures are from the parking lot of the hotel we stayed at in Elijay, Ga.....we didn't take much times for pics other than that...

Glad to hear you got out Stanely. I was thinking briefly on Saturday that a Valk went by and it looked like yours, but... can't remember where or what time.

Did you see us?   Shocked

I like Mo's paint job, looks great. Would love to see it in person sometime.  Cool

I'm not sure if I passed you guys or not?.....Mo met me in Commerce and we also stayed on roads in North GA......I bet we probably weren't too far apart in our travels....

After Mo's crash, he bought those tins already painted to save some time on getting his bike back together.....shipping and all, I think he told me they only cost him $900.....there are "ghost" skulls in the red paint.....very nice looking paint job...... cooldude
