By way of introduction, my name is Ed and I am from Lenoir, NC.  Been shopping to buy a good used Valkyrie.  Found it, took a very brief test ride, bought it, brought it home and unloaded at my local friendly bike shop to get the carbs cleaned.  Picked her up today and just finished my first real ride and all I can say is WOW!  I cannot get over just how smart I was in buying this thing.  Fits my 6ft. 4in. frame well and the power, smoothness, comfort and ride are beyond compare.  Of course I am preaching to the choir here but just had to share how impressed I am.  Starting to prep her now for a maiden voyage into central Fla. next month.  Gonna spend the next few weeks bolting on some goodies to add my own style to it.  Have been lurking over the past few weeks and will  definitely take advantage of the wisdom on the board.  thanks to all.  Ed

Congrats and Welcome!! I'm just over the mountains from you in TN. If
you ever head this way give me a yell a day or two ahead of time.
MAYBE I'll be off work and we can ride a little.

Welcome aboard. Great looking bumblebee. They are very eye catching going down the road. Can't mistake it for anything else.
