so I rode up to meet Bonzo today. Its about an hour up the Hudson and over the mountain
He is in good spirits considering his recent health issue and we sat and talked for a spell at his favorite diner.    Mark and Gman and his son also met us there. Was good to see Mark its been a year now and always good to share time with G and his son

Took the new (to me) police bike and had a blast got home around 230pm or so and went to look at the Valkyrie which I wanted to ride next

OH NO !  a couple of oil spots on the ground   No she wasnt jealous she was crying

Those were oil tears from when I took the other bike I would swear it

Lay down and looked and looked and only thing I would guess is the crush washer on the drain plug

I wiped her tears gently away and decided then and there Only one thing to do

TAKE HER OUT AND RIDE HER  which I did for a bit over an hour easy at first then I flogged her on some hills

When I returned home I put a paper towel under where I saw the oil spot and will see if it was the crush washer

Its about time for its winter oil change anyways will do that during the week with the last gallon of Rotella T that I have,  that should make my Valkyrie happy again I hope

The crush washer is unlikely.  Look for the seal on the shifter.

Hey Oss,

Boy, it was great getting on the Valk this morning and taking her for a ride after a loooooong Winter!! Gotta tell ya, 30 degrees is kinda cold, especially when your expecting 50 degrees. Warmed up pretty quick though, and I was sure digging it!!

It was great to see you, Bonzo, and Gman.....last time was the winery ride I think.

And that bike of yours.........when you first pulled up behind me, I thought I was getting a ticket! LOL.

Maybe have to take a ride soon and have a "Fishing Throw Down".

See you guys soon!!

i'd strip it down and rebuild the engine.  you don't want it to get much worse then a drip, next thing you know is you'll start buying harley t-shirts and bumper stickers! Grin
