We had 10 bikes/11 people with us today for revised route through North GA. A round-about way to nowhere followed by some more roaming around.   Smiley Whe had very little 'stuff' in the road most of the time, which was our objective. We decided at the start that the planned route to Highlands would be full of salt and gravel so we revised our plans. Good job Britman.

As long as you dressed warm enough, it was great! Good group today. Let's see Britman, Thumper, Chris, Matt, Duffy Jr, Ramjet showed up just as we were heading out, Donna, Dave, Gary and son and me.  cooldude

This is Richard Russel Scenic Hwy between Wolfpen Gap and Helen. Shady side of the mountain, lots of ice and snow still around today in north Georgia. Great ride!  Cool

Looks cold to me Duffy. Sounds like y'all made a good decision. I got out today and also tried to avoid the sand and gravel. Hopefully we'll be able to meet y'all in Highlands or somewhere there about before too much longer.  cooldude

I remember being on that road back in 1977 and the ice flow being out to the yellow line. We had 32 days in a row that didn't get above 32 degrees.
