I remember this article when it came out in print.  I'm still pleased to know that unlike many of my life's decisions   uglystupid2  , the purchase of the Valk turned out the be the best choice.  cooldude  Thanks Oss.

Not supprised the Valk was near the top of the list, yet on my list is # 1. I can't see saddle bags, trunk, car tire, etc on the V-Max.

read the score card at the bottom. yes, the v-max got top dog for acceleration but, to total all the point from all 3 riders, the valkyrie still won hands down.  and I would say myself, after ridng many , many, many bikes, the valk is still my fav and the best bike i have ever owned.

I believe they've seen several reports like this, they just don't care about being an enthusiasts motorcycle company anymore. If they haven't already, they really need to drop their performance first motto. They build good bikes, they're just not very exciting. IE; the new "Interstate"; give me a break. IMHO, To each his own, Blah, Blah, Blah....

Great article.  I love how they felt the Valk was top overall choice but not for the seat of the pants feeling top that they were judging on.

In my book, there is no better.

Besides, if all you do is judge a bike on it's speed then go buy a zip splat.

I wish all my decisions went as well, I could of used a wife who ranked that high. Maybe not, if I had found one that good I would not be single and enjoying life!!!
