Running with the Mark Tobias, HorseApple Ranch Mild2Wild exhaust system without the trombones.  For long distance runs, it's too loud for me anymore.  Anybody have an idea for a quieting  the thing down down a bit??

Trombones.

That's funny... 'cause the trombones are what make 'em louder... blocking off the access of the sound to the packing material.

Get ahold of Mark and see if he still has the "silencers" available.  He started taking portions of the OEM exhaust guts and making inserts to tone down the sound.

Oops, my bad.  Should have said. "Silencers."  I've no real need for whisper pipes.   Wink

Get a set of silencers from Mark.  I have his pipes.  Love them.  I run without trombones and with the silencers on long runs.  Nice and quiet.  Take out the silencers for running around.
