Jim Mick of Mick-O-Pegs mentioned that the place at which Mick-O-Pegs are made is in Frankfort, Michigan, within fifty miles of Ground Zero for InZane X.  He thought maybe a ride and guided tour might be in order.

Anyone want to encourage Jim to arrange a tour during InZane?

I'd like to see it!   cooldude

Damselfly and I would be glad to host a ride somewhat south of Ground Zero. We have already inquired about a State Park discount and a private winery tour. Although we may have to do this a day or two before the rally starts.

We are going up several days early, and we may have a nightly Dutch Oven stew or soup to share with those who care to join us.

Anyone interested, please post or e-mail me: dukenjoey@yahoo.com

A good friend of ours, comes pheasant hunting every fall here in ND, owns an ice cream factory, store, etc. in Ludington, MI.  It is 140 miles south of Bellaire, on the water.  We are going to run down there one day.  If several want to come along, we could go one way inland, and return along the lake.  It would make a nice ride.  If we get several going, I could maybe get a deal worked out with him.

Let me know if interested.

I will set it up.  Will see what the schedule is, and make a trip down.  Pass the word around.

We will get ahold of him and see what he can set up.  Will make a nice days ride.  Go down in the AM inland, have lunch and ice cream, and return along the shoreline. Should be really nice.

Just to let you know the #1 ice cream place in the USA (voted #1 last year) is about 50 miles from your place, its called moomers, Im sure one of the Traverse City CMA guys could be persuaded to show the way.
