Probably a fork seal leak. Could be a leaking banjo connection at the caliper or bleeder.
Wipe everything down including the brake lines up to the lower triple clamp and monitor the clean lower fork leg too.
I doubt it's brake fluid unless you had a recent brake job or damage to the lines or bleeder.

I concur with the others. My left went out on the way to Cheaha. Perform the 'film trick' and it may work for you. It did for me for a little while.

Take a section of 35mm camera film, a couple inches long. Slid it up your forks and under the seal. Work it up and down, back and forth. The little notches in the film will pull out some crud and bugs. Sometimes you get enough junk up there that the seal will leak. Sometimes this is all that is needed for a leaky seal. Give it a day or 2 of riding and it may clear up. If not, then a seal change is in the future.

Heheheh flim I used 600 grit paper paperside against the tube of course and slipped it up and ran it back and forth a few times fixed !!!

Fork seal.Make sure you replace the bushings when replacing the seals.Good time to upgrade springs if you haven't already.They're only about $100 (Progressive).
