Hi all this is a personal preferance question I am replacing the fuel lines and I also have a belly tank, now I had two different style fuel hose clamps the single wire stock spring clamps and the ones I got with the belly tank. The ones I got with the belly tank were a wider spring clamp with two prongs on one side and one on the other . I am replacing the clamps also but was wondering what style clamps do you prefer. I am wondering if the spring clamps are enough which held good for 4 years until I started to move the hoses around and I developed a slight leak , buy the way the hoses were starting to get hard or use a screw type hose clamp? Thanks for your responses, Smiley Scooter6

Scooter, I just replaced my lines with 5/16ths fuel line and used the type of clamp that came with the belly tank.  I found them easier to move around.

This is my opinion only.

I have found if I'm moving/playing with the clamp before hose replacement, I use the flat full circle type.

If I put a hose on an forget it I use the round spring type with the 2 buttons on them.

You can break the initial seal the hose has to the pipe, the spring clamp will never reseal, the circle clamp can and usually will reseal.....
