Hi!

I have an I/S radio to test but ... since I ride a Tourer .... I cannot test it on my bike.

1. Could I swap it onto a fellow rider's I/S by unplugging the 2 plastic electrical connections at the rear of his radio, and then connecting mine in there?

2. Will there be something to reset, etc. in order to get the new one to function?

3. What kind of price (ballpark figure) have used I/S radios been selling for lately? I ask because someone wishes to purchase it. I don't want to fleece him ... on the other hand, I don't want to give it away. I just need to give him a fair price/deal.

TIA!!!  Smiley

never had dealing with him but have read good things about pinwall.

Most of the people here have done well with them.
However a fellow rider up here got burnt bad by them. He purchased a final drive from them to replace the one on his I/S. However the one he has received was not in good condition.
When he called them on the phone, someone practically told him to take a hike.  Angry
As of then, no one (myself included) from VRCC Quebec will purchase from Pinwall Cycle Parts.
Too bad ... 'cause they sell lots of parts.... and we are over 150 Valk riders in our club. Oh well ...  Undecided
