I just tried to charge my battery up and found it is dead. I like the Interstate batteries but am finding three options for the bike. Two of them are 200 CCA while the other is 240 CCA. Since I ride with some accessories I am thinking that I would like the 240 CCA battery but what bothers me is that it is cheaper than the other two. Any explanations for this?

I got the 240 CCA Yuasa for the same price delivered. $87 bucks.

The best part is that it comes dry with the acid pack separate.

I know I'm needing a new battery, just not quite ready to change it out.

I like doing it myself.

I have a Walmart battery. Great warranty, is an AGM type and made by a top battery company the same one who makes their top of the line car batteries which get top marks from consumer reports.

The battery that fits valks is a YTX14-BS and is 200 amps.
The YTX14H-BS is the same size but 240 amps. The size of the batteries is critical. Google Yuasa to get to their web site and search for the Valkyrie battery to confirm what I'm saying.
This link will get you a YTX14-BS for 75.96. If you find something else you like to get the order above 100.00 shipping is free.
No afiliation, etc.
BTW the YTX14AH-BS is a different size, not what you want.

Good find Daytona. They're 10 bucks cheaper than I just paid. For my money you can't beat a Yuasa.  cooldude

Hope they save some others a few $$. Some sites, its taboo to share good finds on stuff cause the sponsors get cut out! Don't want to get the heave/ho! Lips Sealed
