I cannot imagine a beetle having enough power to move that at any speed.
The concept, though, is original. And it actually seems pretty safe.

My first car was a 1961 Beetle. I think it had 40 HP. I really think it would struggle to pull ANYTHING!  Grin Grin
I think Kim's 750 Shadow is rated at 43 HP.  Shocked
The Valks 100 HP would be a better choice but how the heck would you hook it up??? Cheesy

I saw a Lincoln Mark III pulling a 5th wheel trailer a few years back.  Looked different.

When I was into going to the local dirt races, there was a guy that towed his race car on a flat-bed open trailer...with a Pontiac station wagon.  It was kind of funny since pretty much everyone else towed with a big dually diesel truck.  But he had that thing tuned up with a big lopey cam and everything.  For a station wagon...it sounded bad-a$$.  It sounded like he had a motor out of one of his race cars.  I often wondered how fast that thing would run without towing that trailer.

How would you hook up the trailer light wiring, yet maintain that awesome, attention getting, 360 degree turning capability?

And yet, I find myself still wanting one.  Those bug motors can be tuned for lots of horsepower.

i got a chuckle out of the safety chains. They obviously were not hooked up for the 360 spins. 2funny
