Rear Rims for California Sidecar Interstate Trike

I have been searching the net for rear rims that will fit the Interstate Trike from CSC, Can't seem to locate any, whats up with that? Does anyone know of a custom rear wheel/rim for this application? I like the stock wheels but would like something else to set the bike apart from stock. The wheel size is 14"- 4 lugs at 4 x 4 1/4" inch bolt pattern, 4 3/4" back space. I hope someone can help as you have in the past.

Contact a local trike builder in your area. They may have a set from another trike that looks different. 480-731-9003 is the number of D&D Discount MC in Tempe, AZ. They build DFT and Champion trikes. He might know of a source.

  I would be willing to bet that they are the same as the four lug ford
wheels that were used on mustangs.

I think that is the only rear end that CSC uses.

There is a wheel out there on the internet somewhere that has a universal bolt pattern.....    By that I mean it will fit any bolt pattern you can throw at it.   A whole lot of holes in that wheel.    I was going to put them on my Chevy Trike, but changed my mind.

I hadn't thought about other trike builders, great idea. I will check on the Mustang angle what years used the 4 lug pattern? If I remember the span might have been in the early 80's when they put the pony in the dryer for a long time and shrunk it down. I'll keep looking but if anyone else can help, that would be great.

The early year pony had 4 lug wheels on the 6 cylinder cars and 5 lugs on the 8 cylinder models.Mustang II of the seventys had 4 lugs also, along with the mavericks, and pintos.

  The first few years of the V8 cars also had 4 lug wheels.
Strange as it seems, when they first put the 5liter in it
starting in the late to early 80s.
