That are really cool.....makes you feel good about a job done right and just makes me happy.  I went to Wally World for the usual trek for OIL mission.  They only had 3 qts of Mobil 1 in the 1qt bottles and they were over 6 bucks each.  But, they did have a 5qt jug for 23 bucks.......good deal, but then the dilema of how do you know what 4 qts is??????????

Right next to the oil was the coolest thing.....never seen one before AND!!!!! its the only thing in all of walmart (slight eggageration) that is made in the USA.  Its a measured funnel , holds up to 1 US Quart and has a hose attached like you use to fill transmissions with an on and off spout, pluggable hose and cap on top for secure clean storage and it has a screen to stop anything from getting in the motor.  Just stick the hose in the fill hole.......turn off the flow.......pour in exactly 1 qt and then open and it flows in smooth and no drips.......repeat three more times and Im done, no oil spilled on the family room floor....me and Judy all very happy   Grin

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's too much...

I was in the SAME quandary yesterday, and my Great Walmart of China also didn't have enough Mobil 1 15w50 individually, but had the big jug, AND I saw and bought the SAME filler/funnel thingy AND noticed it was made in the USA...

Used it last night... Worked well, but the flow was really slow, took a few minutes for each individual quart to flow from the container down into the bike. But not complaining, even after 10 years and almost 100,000 miles, I don't mind just sitting quietly in the garage admiring my Valk...

What to do with the 1.1 quarts of good Mobil 1 that was left before I poured the old oil back into the jug was the real hard issue... So for the first time in my life I did an oil change on my push lawn mower...

Wonder how many push mower's out there are running with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil... Wink

I've used that same funnel for a few years ...Works good on the final drive stump if you change it while the wheel is still on the bike. I've not done mine like that in awhile I change it now when I service the splines and drive shaft ( every tire change ) .

Serk, I couldn't tell you how many lawn mowers have run on Mobil 1, but in my late teens and early 20's I worked on outboard motors and lawn mowers when not in school and I can tell you that 95% of the ones that I saw had NEVER had the oil changed.  Some never even got any oil added.  I have removed the drain plug on some and did not get more than 3-4 ounces to drain out...JTL   Smiley

Both my walk behind mowers (1 qt and 3 qt) get an annual transfusion of synthetic oil.  I save the drain oil from the mowers and the drain (syn) oil from the scoot and use it in my commuter rig to keep it topped off between service intervals.  Twice as nice.  sheets

I think I saw the same thing...I just assumed that it was the sticker that was made in the USA.  Smiley

For any oil ...just look at the little round seal......in the bottom half it will say "enegy conserving" those are not good.......if its blank, good to go
