The URL you used to post the picture was not a direct link to a picture.  It has to end in .jpg (or similar picture file).  You can't take the URL from the browser address bar.

The address of the picture looks like this:  http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4034/4443380803_218855df70.jpg

You can obtain it by these steps.

1.  Right click on the picture itself

2.  Select the properties option

3.  Highlight and copy the address (URL) item.  Be sure to get the entire address.  Notice that this one ends with "jpg"

You can display the picture by pasting the URL you copied between the "img" and "/img" items.
