Died today here in Santa Barbara.  He's always been one of our local guys, our company holds our annual Christmas party at his hotel.  His company makes some damn good local wine, too.

Peter Graves, Fess Parker seems to be a bad week to be a big guy. 

I told my wife yesterday, "He didn't look eighty-five."

Then again, I guess that was forty years ago.  The time does go by, doesn't it?
