I don't know which pix to which you refer.  My bike's fenders are OEM.  I bought it new as a "Std" and have added the I/S bags/trunk/tank.  If you post pix of the bike you're talking about, I'm sure I can offer and editorial about 'em.

Ahh... those !  Those are a collaboration of two fellers here in the Seattle area.  "Pup" is a friend of mine who is a bodyman/painter by trade.  He'd done up a set of tail draggers (front and rear) for his own Valk (later on sold those tins to another local friend).  Then, "PW" (a/k/a:  Wayne, from WaynesWorld) decided he might want to market a set of tail dragger tins (in fiberglass).  So... Pup was doing up the tins in the pic, and when they were completed, PW was going to have molds done up and reproduce them for sale.  That was a few years ago, I don't know whether they got to the reproduction stage or not.  If you email Wayne at Waynesworld... he should be able to edjumicate ya further.  His email is WaynesWorld32ATaolDOTcom

They were "inspired by" the Rune as I recall.

Ratdog..are your hardbags and trunk covered in leather or is it paint....in the picture it looks like leather or even like the old vinly roofs on cars.  They look great! I'm having my hardbags repainted and had thought about seeing about covering the lids.

They're covered in leather.  The "basketweave" patterned is a vinyl insert.  The fringe is leather.  The "pointed dog collar studs" are the idea of the guy who did the work.  The star concho was my requirement.  Basically, the concho and "basketweave" were intended to remind me of my LEO days.  The "dog" collar studs... well... it sort of just fit.

Thanks, I enjoy 'em a lot, until it's time to clean around all those studs, which do not anchor to the plastic, they're only attached to the leather, so care must be used.
