Mount San Antonio, also known as Old Baldy or Mount Baldy, at 10,068 ft, is the highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountains, and the highest point in Los Angeles County. Mount San Antonio's sometimes snow-capped peaks are visible on clear days and dominate the view of the Los Angeles skyline.
The road I'm taking terminates at only 6,000+ ft. It's your typical mountain road with great twisties, okay it's probably not in the Dragon's Tail category but it's fun. Toward the top it has hairy highly rising switchbacks where you literally have to power through, with out this little technique you'll end up picking up the Fat Lady.
The great thing is the road start is only about 12 miles from my house. A warn up for twisty roads I hope I find in Michigan. Do they have mountain twisties in Michigan, from the photos I've seen Michigan looks to have some great looking roads to enjoy on the Fat Lady.
Michigan guys, got some photos of great riding roads?

Thanks for reading, I'm off on an adventure.
