It has been a long time since i have been on the board.  It looks like the names and players involved with the Magna Charger blower kit have changed.   ???  Where are people buying the blower kits these days and how much do they cost?

Thanks.

I just  had mine installed. I would read every post on this board and Valkyrie owners to assess how much trouble it will be to install. I paid 4200 for my setup to Magna charger. because of time had the honda shop install and am actually going back and fixing things. Cables, idle, now I think I have an oil leak in the blower. read JeffK and his response to my whining. I wish I would installed it myself as that is what I do to relax. I am in my garage every moment I can. This site is a big help but I wish I would have done more homework. It is fun to ride.  Hope this helps.

Just a follow up. Still leaking small amount of oil from the blower. Bill at Magnacharger is a stand up guy and said to send it back if it is leaking. Since to make it work right I probalby will need new throttle cables, I may convert back for a trip to San antonio in april since I still am unfamiliar with the touring on the valk with a magnacharger. The b*tch is since I was busy I let the local shop do the install so now I am faced with removing the blower which I think will probably mean completely disassembiling and I think I will put the old stuff back on rather than be down. At least I will get familar with  the machine. Also I wont be faced with reinstalling the smog crap. Again be careful. Unless you are near someone who knows this supercharger I would put it on yourself or pass. You can pay someone to learn on your machine( they were fair with the hours) but then if you have a problem with the blower itself( I must be one of the lucky ones these are fairly durable) you will have decide wether to do it yourself or pay someone. I am doing everything myself from now on. Plenty of help from this board.  sorry for rambling been smelling gas all afternoon.
