hello i am having problems with starter relay two spades gone and relay area junk   someone had been in there prior to me   what i did was put a 30amp fuse harness connected it to red wire no longer in plug and ran to stud on front of relay from battery  looking at wiring diagram that looks like all it did anyway cut other wo wires used heat shrink spades rehooked to relay

hoping someone with a good one can tell me if i am correct with that. does the red wire go thru relay or is it just hooked to battery post on relay thru fuse

thanks RJ      i made my own plug connector  but what i am trying to find out is on relay there should be four male spades only 3 get used looking at it tje left rear red wire spade gone on relay  fuse no longer on relay no were to plug in  so what i did was i put in a 30amp in line fuse hooked it to the red wire then to stud on right front of relay wire from battery    so my question is does the fuse  get controled from relay or is conection i made going to work.  as my red wire has power all the time key on or off   or did it run thru relay and not have power all the time
