Hi everyone, do any of you have the nuts that go under the nut cage on the rear fender?

I had one vibrate loose and it will never be found. I am hoping that someone has done the nut cage modification for a car tire and their square nuts are just sitting around gathering dust.

Willing to pay for it plus shipping, Direct Line has to order it for me and it could take a while.

Thanks, Jim

Tundra,
Thanks for the quick shipping. Unfortunately I will not be riding this weekend, my bike is still in pieces getting a new color. I needed the nuts quickly so I could figure out the mounting for my new saddle bags. I did not want to take a chance painting the bike and bags, then measuring and drilling the mounting holes, I figure it is safer to do that before paint. The bags mount to those nuts. After I figure where they need to be drilled the whole thing will get painted and then I can get it out on the road.

It sure is hard seeing all the bikes out and about around here already, I should have started the project earlier, but it cost too much to get my shop heated up to 55-60 degrees when it's zero outside so I waited.

Please let me know what I owe you.

TUNDRA,
I got the fender nuts today, thank you for sending them so quickly.

Please let me know what I owe you!!!

I don't expect them for nothing, especially after you went to the trouble of sending them so quick.

Jim, I'm glad I could help you out. I removed mine when I did my fender mod., I will honestly never use them, good luck with your project.
Joe, Appreciate the good words. I will make it up to Gods Country some day and you can show me your world.
I have been helped out by many here and will do anthing I can to help out others. "Slammer" has donated time, parts and talent to me. "Thunderbolt" has dontated time and taught me allot about Valkyrie maintenance. "Killroy" let me ride his bike with the "darkside" before I converted, he never even met me, although he still volunteered. Great folks here cooldude

TUNDRA,
I agree, this board is filled with fine folks, you being one of them!
I will pass the favor on to another VRCC brother in the future.

It is not about the money, it is about the bond between us.  This really is a brotherhood!!!

thanks again,
Jim
