Lucky 13 went with me and Smokin Joe spotted it on Craig's List and notified me immediately on

email.

Called the dude in Soddy Daisy and said the Interstate was in excellent condition.

He was right and it had lots of extras. Truck Stacks, gutted stock mufflers for a good sound, acent

lights to show off the chrome at night, cruise control manual style, chrome luggage rack onteh trunk,

perfect paint, luggage racks on the hard bags, pods wiht working fog lights, cup holder, almost new

tires. Owners manual as well as a tool kit. Cna't believe I made the 100 mile trip home after seeing the battery connections were losse due to the fact he removed the battery tender and forgot to retorque the battery bolts.

I noticed this when I was installing the pig tail for the heated Harley Clothing made by gerbing now.

Weider went out of business.

Could not be happier and its fast Black to boot.

Forgot the shear exceeration of these bikes, been riding a Harley Electriglide for a while. hit 115  mph on I-75 on the way home.

Whew/

I, m back now.

That is outstanding news Al!   (too much of the bad news these days).

It sounds like Joe found a really nice machine, and you made a good move on it.

I have two (black) ISs, and they're about the only thing left that makes me feel like a kid again..... and tickle me right down to my boots.   (Course I'd probably feel the same way about one with color(s).... probably)

PS:  despite all the good evidence to the contrary, I'd be a bit careful going 115MPH on a bike I'd owned for a couple hours.   But now that you have...... it's probably OK hereafter.   Grin

Good news Al...I saw that posted on craigslist just 2 days ago and thought it sounded like a great bike. I can't wait to see it in person.  Did Joe sell his IS ?

Congrats!!

I am just wondering how many x-Valk owners have returned to the fold after buying other bikes.  Valks aren't for everyone but they are addictive.

Always enjoy the board here and thanks for Praying for me on the Heart/Alchohol Issues.

Heart is doing fine.

Beer, wine, whiskey, Moon Shine, sales are down in three counties due to my interdiction away

from the so called good life.

Some people are fine with a Little Whistle Wetter every now and again.

But I was drowning my whistle and was amazed I was still alive on some of these excursions.

We all have our stroies to reminisce upon, but when people remember what happens and

you don't, then it's time to take stock of the situation and curb the destructive

behavior.

Remember a wise man will change his or her mind but a fool never will.

Sounds a little rough of a stance but it's better to tell the hard facts thatn to sugar

coat it and wacht a friend die or hurt other people in our lives that don't

deserve to be hurt.

Not to mention the damage to the other people in the general public that are at danger form my behavior.

A lot of people are sitting in prison now wishing they had stopped ,

but what is done is done and no way to take it back or change the outcome.

Gald I quit when I didi.

Wnet on a ride the other day wiht some good friends,

and had just as much fun not drinking as

when i did drink .

So nothing has changed really, still having fun and riding more often thatn when I was drinking.

Remember I am not morally against drinking, Jesus first miracle was turning water into wine.

But they did not drive home after the event , so the worst that could happen is fall down.

Not so today.

And remember love all of you and God Bless each and and everyone of you wild and crazy folks

Here is a video for you but WARNING THE F WORD IS USED ONCE AND DON"T watch IF YOU DON"T LIKE GEORGE CARLIN.

REST IN PEACE GEORGE

I would be interesting to see where he ended up.

Well, somebody will be at Cheaha this weekend. That's not too far for you guys. Doing the pre-ride with Redvalk on Saturday. He's staying over and we may do so as well on Sat. night.
