If you get all those trim screws out without spinning the brass inserts in the plastic, you'll be the first. If they begin to spin, don't just keep turning them, you'll just wallow the hole out more. Pull firmly and steadily on the plastic while turning the screw to just pull the insert completely out. Then use a pair if pliers to hold it and get the screw out. They can be epoxied back in easily (or JB Weld). Be sure to put some antiseize on the threads upon reassembly to avoid future problems.
This web site has a wealth of info:
http://www.stolaf.edu/people/marshall/fairing.htmThere are rubber grommets on the four bolts holding the windshield. The thick side of the grommet goes under the windshield.
Make a mental note of the angle the screws as you're taking them out. It is easy to get them cross threaded going back together if you line them up the way it "looks" like they should go.
