Will the final drive from a gold wing work on the valkyrie? Are they geared different? I found afew gold wing final drives locally so am wondering what the difference is. thx, mnrider

The only 2 differences are: They look very different. And one of the 4 mounting bolts is in the wrong place. If you wanted to cut off the wrong one and trust the other 3 to hold the drive onto the swingarm; it'll do just fine. Not my choice though. BTW: same gear ratio and most of the internal parts are the same.

However ALL the internal parts of the 1500 Goldwing rearend are the same as the Valk rearend.
The only thing different is the case or housing.
