2014 Valkyrie 1800

Seminole, Florida

« on: March 27, 2010, 06:19:25 AM »

I had a busy year riding and exploring my State in 2009. Figured I'd stoke your fire for the upcoming riding season, for you all that are coming out of Winter...

Aropeka, Florida

"Sleepy Hollow", which is in Floral City, Florida. Great little biker destination in the woods, always cool, no matter how hot it gets. http://www.wallowatthehollow.com/

Florida Squirrel

St. John's River?

Not my boat, jst a good photo.

Florida East Coast Sunrise

Somewhere in Central Florida?

Florida State Fairgrounds, my secret back road parking spot. Short hike through the woods and your in.

That's John Schmidt and TJ at a Breakfast ride, think that day was Cracker Barrel?

This is John Schmidts georgious Valk, one of a kind and pictures just don't do it justice.

I can say the same about TJ's Wing, georgious and custom, sounds awesome! I'd like to have both of these bikes in my garage!

Madiera Beach, Florida

Indian Rocks Beach, Florida This bike belongs to one of my favorite riding buds, boy we had some large times this past summer. Memories I'll never forget. We ate large too, good destinations.

And a stop at our favorite little Mexican place.

The best place in the world for a "Beef on Weck" at Gulfport Florida.

Cedar Key, Florida  lunch ride (food sucked) good ride great friends!

Floral City, somewhere? Me and the boys.

Breakfast Club ride in Brooksville, Florida

Clearwater, Florida

The Clearwater Beach "Post Turtle" If you don't know what a post turtle is, just ask any Texan.

Arty-Fartsy gate at private residence, Bellaire Beach, Florida

I think it looks better like this...

Somewhere in Pasco County, Florida. Not many roads are blessed with signs such as this.

Lions Pub...great sandwiches!

The Tower of Babble, Fort Desoto State Park, Florida

Same Park, Andrea, my wife.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

Chiefland BBQ Ride

Inverness lunch ride with Silverfox

Hardee County, worst ride of the year. Rode for hours trying to dodge the rain, got hit with torrential rain, it hurt. Then my second flat tire of the year. Still a good day riding. And memories for story telling.

I don't remember this ride location??? I know we had a good time though.

For a parting shot, a beautiful West Coast Florida Sunset.

Andrea's Birthday, she got her very own  .22 Ruger Bearcat.
Maybe more later, this is time consuming, we are riding today, gotta run.

ok...for those of you coming out of Winter hibernation, get those bikes cleaned up, fluids changed and log some safe miles. Get some pics posted of your rides for the rest of us.

Nice post Tundra...brings back memories of home (I am counting down the years till I return).  First large photo I have seen of John Schmidt's bike...nice looking bike indeed....only improvement I can think of would be seeing it parked in my garage!

RJ,  Sorry, I wish I did. Kept an eye on it all day looking for the owner to show up. Pretty slick looking, seemed very well built.

Nice shots  cooldude

I miss the Valkyrie event Swoopie had in Florida " Dragons On The Beach " for several years. I always hoped one of the other Florida members would have stepped up and took this over. It was a ride my ridin' bud's and I here in Tennessee always looked forward to takin' in November. All good things come to a end  Undecided
