I ran the ground to one of the screws on the braces between the carbs.  Hot to the coil.

Which wire?  The black/white common to all three coils or the other one?

It was NOT the common one.  Just pull a wire off, turn on the key, to "on", and see if the wire is hot.  If so, use it.  Splice in.

I tied mine into the 'supply side' (+)  black/white wire on one of the coils and the 'ground side' (-) to one of the  coil mounting bolts. Don't tie into the yellow (w/red, white or blue stripe)  coil wire, it's the 'fire' signal from the ECM.

Thanks tlanz!!  I already did a search and discovered it for myself.  In one of the threads on this from last year there was a link to Chet's schematics on the Rattlebars website.  Chet marked the black/white wires as positve so that is what I tapped.  Thanks again.
