Should be fun traveling out West this year. Sounds like another year of thick grasshoppers ....

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36074471/ns/us_news-life/

Last year I was at a motorcycle gathering in the Black Hills (NO, it wasn't Sturgis) and one of the riders was from Western Wyoming that came across northern Wyoming into the Hills. His bike and pants was so peppered with grasshoppers it was unreal .... it must have felt like it was raining grasshoppers.  Did get quite a few laughs thou.

Coming back from Inzane last year, I could have sworn that I killed every grasshopper in western Kansas, and there were some whoppers.

At first I did not have on my leathers but stopped and put them on to cut down on the stinging from hitting them.
