I have read about using the brake bleeder pump (just picked one up at the zone today)to change brake fluid. Just open the nipple and vacuum out the old fluid, run some alcohol through it to dry it out, vac the new fluid through the system and you are done. Cool However, with the bleeder being the highest point on the wheel cylinder, wouldn't the alcohol, dirt and water still be in the bottom of the wheel cylinder.  :-\Seems to me the wheel cylinder would have to be inverted to allow all the crud to run out, re-install wheel cylinder and then pull the new fluid through the system. Or, was this just so obvious it was never mentioned! Cheesy

Unless you are changing to synthetic brake fluid.  Just replace the old fluid for new.  You dont have to use the alcohol.

The nipple is the highest point to get the air out, shouldn't have any dirt in there.

Like Chris said just flush with new fluid.

I had an old corvette once and the prior owner installed the rear wheel cylinders on the wrong side, even the brake line was wrong, so he had the nipple on the bottom, never could get the air out. Finally took the car to a mechanic and he pointed out the error. Before that it never dawned on me.

OK, will do. I just thought by the nipple being the highest point, would leave old fluid in the bottom of the cylinder.
